Documents required for the Cyprus Investment Program

For the Investor:

  • Application Form M127 fully completed and signed before a Registrar of a Cypriot court or a consular officer
  • True copy of passport
  • Birth Certificate
    • Original, duly certified & translated into English with Apostille/Double Certification
  • Certificate of Criminal Record from the country of origin and the country of residence If it differs
    • Original, duly certified & translated into English with Apostille/Double Certification
  • Marriage Certificate or Civil Partnership Certificate
    • Original, duly certified & translated into English with Apostille/Double Certification
  • Three passport size photographs
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  • Copies of advertisements in a daily newspaper of 2 consecutive day posts
  • Copy of Residence Permit in the Republic of Cyprus under Regulation 6.2. If the applicant does not already hold a residence permit, he/she may apply simultaneously with the application of naturalization

For investment in real estate, land development and infrastructure projects the following documents are required:

  • Contract of Sale
  • Title deeds or Proof of Registration of the contract with the Lands and Surveys Department
  • Proof of payment of the agreed purchase price
  • Copy of the wire transfer to a Cypriot commercial banking institution in the name of the seller or the seller's company
  • An evaluation certificate from an independent registered land surveyor, if required by the Ministry of Interior or the Ministry of Finance
  • Investment plan for the development of the purchased land, if the investment involves the purchase of land under development.

For the Investor's Spouse:

Application Form M127 fully completed and signed before a Registrar of a Cypriot court or a consular officer

  • True copy of passport
  • Birth Certificate
    • Original, duly certified & translated into English with Apostille/Double Certification
  • Certificate of Criminal Record from the country of origin and the country of
    • Original, duly certified & translated into English with Apostille/Double Certification
  • Marriage Certificate or Civil Partnership Certificate
    • Original, duly certified & translated into English with Apostille/Double Certification
  • Three passport size photographs
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  • Copies of advertisements in a daily newspaper of 2 consecutive day posts
  • Copy of Residence Permit in the Republic of Cyprus under Regulation 6.2. If the applicant does not already hold a residence permit, he/she may apply simultaneously with the application of naturalization

For the Investor's Minor Children (18 - 28 years old):

  • Application Form M126 fully completed and signed by the parent before a Registrar of a Cypriot court or a consular officer
  • True copies of the child's and parents' passports
  • Birth Certificate
    • Original, duly certified & translated into English with Apostille/Double Certification
  • Copy of the Parent's Marriage Certificate or Civil Partnership Certificate
    • Duly certified & translated into English with Apostille/Double Certification
  • Written consent of the non-Cypriot parent (if applicable)
    • Duly certified & translated into English with Apostille/Double Certification
  • Three passport size photographs
  • Copy of the investor's Certificate of Naturalization
  • Copy of the Investor's Cypriot passport

For the Investor's Adult Children (18 - 28 years old):

  • Application Form M127 fully completed and signed before a Registrar of a Cypriot court or a consular officer
  • True copy of passport Birth Certificate
    • Original, duly certified & translated into English with Apostille/Double Certification
  • Certificate of Criminal Record from the country of origin and the country of residence if it differs
    • Original, duly certified & translated into English with Apostille/Double Certification
  • Marriage Certificate or Civil Partnership Certificate (if applicable)
    • Original, duly certified & translated into English with Apostille/Double Certification
  • Three passport size photographs
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  • Copies of advertisements in a daily newspaper of 2 consecutive day posts
  • Copy of Residence Permit in the Republic of Cyprus under Regulation 6.2. If the applicant does not already hold a residence permit, he/she may apply simultaneously with the application of naturalization
  • Copy of the Undergraduate Degree if the child is studying for a Postgraduate Degree
  • Certificate of Attendance by an academic institution for a Bachelor or a Master's Degree
    • Original and must be duly certified and translated into English
  • Medical Certificate attesting the disability
    • Original and must be duly certified and translated into English
  • Copy of the investor's Certificate of Naturalization
  • Copy of the Investor's Cypriot passport

For the Investor's Parents:

  • Application Form M127 fully completed and signed before a Registrar of a Cypriot court or a consular officer
  • True copy of passport Birth Certificate
    • Original, duly certified & translated into English with Apostille/Double Certification
  • Certificate of Criminal Record from the country of origin and the country of residence if it differs
    • Original, duly certified & translated into English with Apostille/Double Certification
  • Marriage Certificate or Civil Partnership Certificate
    • Original, duly certified & translated into English with Apostille/Double Certification
  • Three passport size photographs
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV)

Please note:

All the documents issued by a foreign authority should be translated to either Greek or English and be duly authenticated (They should bear the stamp , if they are issued by countries that have signed the Hague Convention, otherwise they should be sealed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the issuing country and the diplomatic mission of the Republic of Cyprus in the issuing country).
